The Same Location for 26+ Years
Family-owned and -operated in Burnaby, Alex’s Lift Truck Service opened our doors in 1979, and we’ve been in the same location on Waltham Avenue for over 26 years now. We began with a simple dream: to take on a new company direction for custom-made trailers, hitches and receivers. Since then, we’ve expanded our scope of material handlers to include Pettibone®, Manitou and Genie® equipment.

Alex’s Mobile started in 1979 from a garage in our owner’s backyard. We originally had five mobile units at the time, which each ran 24 hours a day. One day in 1980 while our owner was looking for parts, the opportunity presented itself to purchase Alex’s 4 Wheel Drive. With seven employees, we moved twice before settling into our present location in 1988.

Now with 10,000 square feet of warehouse space and a 24’ ceiling, we are well-equipped to handle just about any size of heavy equipment you need to purchase, rent or lease.
